Corum Golden Bridge Rectangular Watch
Corum’s Golden Bridge has always been a fascinating watch thanks to its skeletonized linear movement that transfers energy from the barrel at six o’clock to the escapement at the top. It has come in many forms over the decades, including a round version in 2016, and this year it returns to its roots with a rectangular case in 18k rose gold. The iconic hand-wound movement remains stunning, this time flanked by two bridges with six 3D Roman numeral hour markers, also in 18K rose gold.
Corum - Golden Bridge Round 43 Art Deco
Corum presents the Golden Bridge Round 43 Art Deco, a new interpretation of its Golden Bridge model, combining the iconic aesthetic of a rectangular movement with that of a suspension bridge.
The 4 Hz (28,800 vph) rectangular movement is located in the center of the watch, placed vertically, with golden bridges and a main plate engraved with the brand name and decorative pattern.
Four symmetrical series cables made of brass run to either side of the movement. They continue the architectural inspiration of the aptly named "Bridges" series.
The 43mm x 8.80mm case is made of grade 5 titanium with a black DLC treatment and features a sapphire strap that allows the wearer to explore the construction of the movement.
The crown at 6 o’clock is used for time setting and winding of the 40-hour power reserve. Water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet.
